The Lower Lab PTA is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.

The PTA will earn sales commission on any Amazon product anyone purchases, provided that they click on an Amazon banner on this website. Anyone can do it. First, click the banner above to take you to Amazon, then shop like normal. It’s that easy!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is there an added cost to the shopper?
A: Absolutely NOT!  Items cost the same as they normally would, but Amazon pays a commission to its affiliates for referring shoppers.

Q: Just click the banner? Don’t I need to select a product when clicking to Amazon?
A: Nope, just click this banner first, then search and shop for any product on the Amazon website.

Q: Must I come to the PTA website to do this?  Can’t someone just send me a link in an e-mail?  Can I bookmark the link?
A: You must come to the website.  The rules set by Amazon are very clear; commissions are paid only when clicking on an affiliate’s (e.g., the PTA’s) banner on a website.  Emailing links is expressly forbidden.  We will not get credit for bookmarked links either.

Q: Do these commission apply only to purchases made by parents?  Can my relatives use it?
A: Anyone! Anyone who shops on Amazon can participate!  Parents, teachers, relatives, friends, strangers.  Tell everyone!

Q: What if I put something in my Amazon shopping cart and come back later?  Will the PTA get sales commission?
A: As long as you check out and complete the purchase within 24 hours of first clicking the banner, YES!

Q: How much commission does the PTA earn?
A: It varies somewhat depending on the product type (e.g. books vs. electronic movies downloads vs. gift cards,) but up 6.5% with Amazon Smile!  This will quickly add up to significant earnings for the kids!

Box Tops for Education

Every box top we collect is 10 cents for our children’s education.  If every student brought in 30 box tops each we would have roughly $1,000!  These “box tops” are on top of products you use every day.  Ziploc, Annie’s, Cheerios, Larabars, Hefty, and more! Find them, cut them out and backpack them to the PTA Mailbox. Every bit counts!  Now they’re moving digital, so it’s even easier.  Download an app, scan your receipt, and that’s it!  No clipping needed!

RaiseRight

Any time you buy gift cards for others or can use gift cards to pay for your own purchases, please buy your gift cards through the Raise Right app. If you do, Lower Lab will get a percentage of your purchases at no extra cost to you! Just download the app at https://www.raiseright.com/ and use code (994DEE9711281). You can get gift cards for almost any purchase including clothing stores, Amazon, Starbucks, and even groceries!
